2009 Cruzin For A Cure - Sunday 8th November 2009 2009 Cruzin For A Cure is starting to take shape. The date for the event has been moved back one weekend to Sunday the 8th November 2009. We will again be meeting at 9.30am at the UWS Parramatta Carpark. Will will then be heading off at 10am for Camden Airport where there will be Raffles, DJ, Live Band, Airport Tours, BBQ, Trade Stands and lots more. You can download the event Flyer Here

2008 Event Report

The 2008 Cruzin For A Cure was on shaky ground with the weather threatening once again. Thankfully the overcast sky didn’t deter too many people and we had had approximately 60 cars turn up at UWS carpark Parramatta for the cruise to Camden Airport. The cruise travelled along the M4 to Northern Rd, Penrith then headed down to Camden which took about 45 minutes. On arrival at the airport the XW-XY Owners Club had the BBQ fired up which was a great success after selling out of food by the afternoon. We would like to thank all our sponsors who donated prizes for the raffles & Speedy Wheels for providing a set of wheels up to 18” for a silent auction. Congratulations to all the raffle winners. Over the day, more cars arrived which took the total number of cars to approximately 90. We would like to give a special thankyou to the 72-78 Ford V8 Club, the NSW Holden V8 Club & the American Muscle Car Club for the strong support with a good number of cars from each of the clubs. We would also like to thank the Mustang Owners Club of NSW for their donation of $500 and also the 72-78 Ford V8 Club for their donation of $203. All in all the day was once again a great success with the total amount raised topping $4,700. This brings the total of the trust to over $55,000. People’s choice award this year went to Matt from the Macarthur region in his silver Trans Am. It was a very close contest between 3 cars and Matt ended up winning by only 2 votes.
